If the major GPA is still below 2.5 after the probationary period, the students can retake Engineering courses to raise the major GPA but cannot take any other Engineering classes until they are off probation. If a student’s major GPA drops below 2.5, then the student has a one-semester probationary period to raise the major GPA above 2.5. Students who have completed 20 credits of Engineering major courses must maintain a major GPA of 2.5.
